Training sessions

A short, well-timed session is one of the fastest ways to move referring clinicians from awareness 'I've heard of QGenome' to action 'I use it on every referral'. Here are the formats that work best.

Suggested formats

  • A 30-minute session open to any referrer in your region. A suggested agenda: 5 minutes on referral quality, 15 minutes walking through QGenome live, 5 minutes Q&A, and 5 minutes on how to download Clinibee. Record it and post it on your QGenome landing page so people can watch it later.

  • Ask your local Training Hub or ICB GP education lead for a standing 20-minute slot once a quarter. One genetics consultant and a screen share is all you need.

  • Add QGenome to the induction pack for new GPs, GP trainees, oncologists, breast surgeons, and practice nurses. A five-minute introduction at induction is worth months of chasing later.

  • A short screen recording of QGenome being used on a worked example. Host it on your QGenome landing page, share it as an unlisted YouTube or MS Stream link, and embed it in your email signature during launch month.

  • Recruit one clinician in each ICB or Primary Care Network to act as a local QGenome champion. Give them a briefing pack and a clear point of contact so they can answer questions from colleagues.
