The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency have recently licensed Anastrazole as a preventive option for women at moderate or high risk of breast cancer due to their family history. Women are therefore being advised to contact their GP who can refer them to a specialist for a full risk assessment taking into account family history.
